Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 4 July 2026 · Effective date: 4 July 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all websites, applications, APIs, dashboards, software tools and services operated by TJ NOVA LTD ("we", "us", "our") and forms part of our Terms of Service. It sets out what you must not do when using the Services. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund, removal of content, and, where required by law or necessary to protect the Services or third parties, reporting to relevant authorities.

1. Illegal activity

You must not use the Services for any activity that is illegal under applicable law, or to plan, facilitate or promote illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering, unlicensed financial services, or trafficking in illegal goods or services.

2. Child safety

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors, in any form including AI-generated content. Any such use will be reported to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), the National Crime Agency's Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command (CEOP), the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where relevant, and other competent law enforcement authorities, and results in immediate, permanent termination without notice.

3. Harm, hate and harassment

You must not use the Services to generate, distribute or facilitate: content that promotes hatred, discrimination or violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics; targeted harassment, threats, doxxing or stalking of any individual; content that promotes, glorifies or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide or eating disorders; or content that incites violence or terrorism.

4. Deception, impersonation and integrity

You must not use the Services to impersonate any person or organisation in a misleading way, create fraudulent identities, generate deepfakes or synthetic media intended to deceive without disclosure, manipulate elections or civic processes through disinformation, or engage in academic dishonesty in violation of an institution's policies.

5. Security, abuse and technical misuse

6. Misuse of AI and third-party model providers

Where a Service relies on third-party AI model providers, you must comply with that provider's own usage policies in addition to this AUP. You must not use the Services to circumvent a third-party provider's safety systems, content policies or rate limits, or to generate output that the underlying provider prohibits.

7. Privacy violations

You must not use the Services to collect, process or disclose personal data of others in violation of applicable data protection law, including using the Services to build unauthorised profiles of individuals, conduct unauthorised surveillance, or publish another person's private information without consent (doxxing).

8. Regulated advice and high-risk use

Output from the Services must not be represented as, or relied upon in place of, professional medical, legal, financial or safety-critical advice from a qualified professional, and must not be used as the sole basis for decisions in high-risk contexts (such as medical diagnosis, credit or employment decisions, or safety-of-life systems) without appropriate human review.

9. Sanctions and export control

You must not access or use the Services from a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive UK, EU or US sanctions, or if you are listed on an applicable restricted-party list, or use the Services to evade sanctions, export controls or anti-money-laundering obligations.

10. Abuse of payment systems

You must not use stolen, unauthorised or fraudulently obtained payment methods, engage in a pattern of purchase-and-chargeback abuse, or attempt to circumvent billing, metering or fraud-prevention systems.

11. Spam and platform abuse

You must not use the Services to send unsolicited bulk communications, generate content at scale for spam or manipulation purposes (including fake reviews or engagement), or otherwise abuse the intended purpose of the Services.

If we reasonably suspect a violation involving illegal content, threats to safety, or child endangerment, we may preserve relevant logs and content, cooperate with law enforcement investigations, and disclose information as required or permitted by law, without prior notice to you.

12. Reporting violations

To report a suspected violation of this AUP, or a security vulnerability, contact security@tjnovaltd.com. We investigate reports in good faith and may take action including content removal, suspension or termination.

13. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, and retain relevant logs and records for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate, respond to legal process, or comply with a legal obligation, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
